Co-op between pc and steam deck
I've just messaged steam support about this I just thought I'd post it here aswell to get people talking about it

I've always thought pc gamings biggest flaw is it's lack of local co-op/splitscreen support in most games, I never understood why as couch co-op is not going anywhere. I thought the steam deck would be a great way to fix this but after searching apparently you can't play games on both my pc and deck simultaneously, the only workaround would for me to make another account and buy two copies essentially of everything I want to play with friends. Are there any plans to include a co-op mode so to say where both devices could use the same account and have full access to my library so I can play on my pc with a friend using my deck. I know it may seem like you're missing out on game sales but honestly if this was a feature I can guarantee me and many others would want to buy not only a deck but as many co-op games as I can. It just seems like a real win-win as other than using awkward to use software which doesn't always work there really is no way to play local co-op excluding a small amount of titles.

Does the game support Remote Play Together?

If so, use 2 separate accounts, the account that owns it can remote play with the other account.

Actually, you don't even need an account for the guest. Although that would be a bit complicated with a SteamDeck. So, in that edge case, a second "guest" account would be a good idea.
