:bunnyinablanket: Alas we have no longer any community members positioned to handle issues where forum lore is useful or vital.
i feel plenty welcome, Thanks. Do you have a issue? is there something you want me to do for you? cause i am clearly allowed to express my disappointment in steam, other wise it would look like steam is just a empty shell.

this type of user declaration is needed to show that some people just don't agree with the way steam handles its forums. Or with how steam users attack and try to effect others who they can't agree with.

Its unfortunate that steam employee's are total garbage, at one point in time i felt maybe steam was a decent platform, i could over look the lies they told, however now a days it seems that steam has only got worse, the lies they are making is turning the gaming industry into nothing more then a jester of sad developers that drop million on games that fail even on the steam platform.

look at steams own top 100, million dollar games can't even pick up user base on steam. id be gutted if i spent millions on a game and it had only 10,000 people on steam outta 30 million daily playing it.

So guess you don't have any actual issues since you can't say what the issue is. Glad your problems are solved. Remember everyone is invited to participate but you have to follow the rules here.
can you explain the rules they don't seem to have any consistency , also the lack of consistency relates directly to the lack of professionalism, you can't have a inconsistent set of rules and claim yourself to be a professional company.

They did so recently as a disruptive user was just banned.
That explains the timing of this thread's creation (and the author) very well. It just clicked with me.
incompetence was stated clearly was it not?

Pretty straight forward, it basically boils down to don't be an ♥♥♥♥.
there are forums for serious topics and forums that are more laid back. pick what suits you
This one talking about "professionalism". Thats a helluva laugh.
If you want professionalisn in a forum I may suggest joining a forum of professionals.

It's all regular people here.

Obvious jester bait topic is obvious.

other then that i don't see a problem with steam .... a back street criminal empire of trade scam theft and illicit data mining.
i can see now why you are being victimized by the steamish inquisition (which nobody expects)

this is serious topic please take your jesters and shove them into steams coin slot , they need the money its a failing platform full of incompetent employee's
Being rude right out the gate. Wow.

It's an easy way to tell what topics to care about.

I'm honestly proud of how well Steam users manage to handle this jester feature. You'd think it would be put on everyone but nope, because it actually cost points it's used better.

People has also learned to hold back the award on those people who people believe make jester farm topics. So only 1 person gives it out and the rest holds the reward.
The userbase learns,.

steam couldn't invite a homeless man to a homeless shelter, this forum has less activity then a elementary school X-mas play. At least some parents take school plays serious, they surely don't take steams broken forums and steams lack of professionalism seriously.

But how do you REALLY feel.

The forums are in a permanent state of ill-repair.

Not sure what'd they'd have to do to clean them up, but clearly, something would be better than nothing at this point.

Just apply rules and bans more. They did so recently as a disruptive user was just banned.

Now the issue is using alt accounts to bypass bans.
I suspect that would just up the sodium level of some people.

id imagine that those bending an breaking the rules within steam should be harshly punished, as they are not only doing a extremely bad job, but are attacking the platforms user base.
Oh they are. They are.

the moment steam breaks professionalism it can no longer be considered professional

what it amounts to is one mans dream being shattered by the crap employee's his company hires.

Every communication and interaction I;ve had with Support and moderation hqs been professional. I may not have liked the outcome but the interaction was crispy and clean.
Never had a problem with support. I think the manner you approach them with makes a difference . It does not hurt to be polite.
