Unfair pricing for Armenia and Georgia located players
Hi everyone. I did some research to understand what's wrong with my country, that we buy games at a very high price (EU) but for example the same Russia and Turkey are buying the same game 2-3x cheaper.
The most wondering part is that if they are counting the average payability of a person in this or that country, then in Armenia and Georgia we have lower values than in Russia and Turkey, even lower than in Argentina. Argentina, Turkey, and Russia have discounts of 50-70% but not us.

I believe it's possible that nobody before raised this concern, but that would be great if the Steam team would review the pricing for Armenia and Georgia players.

Just FYI the average salary in Armenia and Georgia is 200-400$ monthly. So there are a lot of people that earn even less than 200$ in a month. Also in these countries buying a PC/laptop or Console is already about 2 times more expensive than in the USA, and it becomes really difficult for 90% of the people who like to play games to be able to.

For example, a PS5 console costs about 500$ on Amazon and it costs about 800-1000$ in Armenia.

I hope these arguments will make some sense to do something with this. Thanks in advance!

Game developers/publishers set prices for their products. Valve will not force anyone to rise/lower prices.
I believe Armenia and Georgia are CIS-USD? In the recent/current MENA-USD and LATAM-USD change-over I noticed this example: https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/17g0frn/im_a_developer_these_are_the_regional_prices/

This seems to imply that Valve's suggested prices for CIS-USD are the same as for MENA-USD and LATAM-USD and the issue is then probably also the same as for all those titles that latter two regions now find priced as US-USD, i.e., the developer simply having neglected to explicitly set a price for CIS-USD meaning they get EU prices, even though most would probably be perfectly willing to do so if they'd have noticed.

This would be to say that you'd indeed need to contact the individual developers. Perhaps not too easy for the bigger ones but I expect you'd have things sorted with the small ones quickly.
