You can contact epic to request such things, however, it is one of the two things keeping their store open by using profits from fortnite & engine royalties, which is the only thing allowing EGS to remain operable. Safe to say they don't want to share with Steam.
If Epic put Fortnite on Steam, they would lose revenue as Steam would take a cut of the transactions.
Also I prefer the name crapnite for it myself.
Too many underage squeakers that scream and rage when they don't win.
Clearly being on Steam is valuable to players.
Let's create a hypothetical scenario in which Fortnite makes it's way to Steam. What would it take?
For starters, the EGS efforts would need to fail spectacularly. Epic and their investors grow tired of throwing money into a hole with no return on investment, and the EGS is shut down. It effectively becomes just the launcher for Epic games as it used to be.
Next, the Fortnite player base would need to suffer. Epic would need to experience sustained and catastrophic decline of their playerbase, forcing them to seek to boost their audience somehow.
Finally, in a desperate effort to prop up their cash cow, Epic launches Fortnite on Steam in the hopes that the massive player base here picks it up.
Not sure how likely this is. Tim Sweeney just might be petty enough to sink the ship before he would put Fortnite on Steam. Of course the company could see this coming and oust him from the company instead, then who knows what would happen.
Personally I think the EGS efforts will fail and Epic will pull back from trying to monopolize all of PC gaming. They'll double down on Unreal Engine and trying to develop Fortnite into their "metaverse" platform. Fortnite will cease to become a game and will instead be something like Roblox instead. A platform of it's own.
Valve does not own Fortnite, epic does, go contact Epic as Valve doesn't go try seeking out games people decide to bring games to their store. Read the pinned thread.
Contact Epic.

Sure:
Fortnite on Steam. Never gonna happen.
But if it did, it would require Epic to fail hard first.

If you want it on Steam go ask Epic to add it to Steam, posting here about it will do nothing as Valve won't go ask them. Also Epic has zero reason to bring it here, they have their own platform.
