Deleting them is a bad idea because if a hijacker gets in and deletes stuff you wanted to keep, Valve is NOT going to restore them. They also won't restore ones that you accidentally delete also or ones that your annoying little sibling or child deletes because you got up to go to the bathroom and left everything unlocked.
The best option is like the "perma delete" for games, which doesn't actually delete the game as you can still get the game back onto your account on your own. Its more like an advanced hide.
This is the best option.
Also if you don't like getting random stickers... don't click the button. More then likely you will be able to pick them up after the sale for some of your points, and then you can pick and choose which ones you want.
