Option to enable allow comments on all reviews

I understand the reason for disabling "allow comments" on reviews by default, but I write a lot of reviews and I'd prefer to enable allowing comments.

Since this was introduced I have been manually enabling allow comments on every review, but there are a lot of times I forget to do this, and frankly it's annoying to have to remember.

Can we just have an option to opt-in to allowing comments on all reviews instead? Thanks in advance.

The way you phrased this is an awful feature but what you've elaborated on is fine. Your title makes it sound like you want a way to comment on anyone's review regardless of them having "Enable Comments" disabled like it is by default.

I would phrase what you seem to want instead as "Allow users to change the default 'Enable Comments' option when making reviews."

Ya I agree with this. Just remember the last setting. If the user ticks the box to enable comments, then have it ticked by default for their next review. If they ever untick it, then have that be the default going forward until they tick it again and so on.

I understood what he meant just fine. I think this should be more of a toggle, as in last time you left it checked, it stays checked, if you left it unchecked it stays unchecked.
