Like this one for example which just came up on my discovery queue https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Whitehole%20Games
These games are not worth that price and I have no intention of ever buying them, but there is no way to block them because the tags are the same as other games. I should not have to have 1/4 of my discovery queue or more taken up by these quick money grabs that don't actually provide any real content...
Anyone who says "But what if I don't want to block all their games" is just silly since they can instead block the games they don't want to see. But in my case I don't want to see ANY of the games from these developers cause they aren't even worth $5 yet they are charging $60+ for these games and they have dozens of them. I have seen at least 5 different developers with the exact same pattern.
I'd much rather block a dozen or so devs than hundreds of games, AND have to block more every time those devs release another junk one.
That is pretty much the exact thing.
There are too many developers/publishers who now flood the store with low-rent junk, and some of them try to be "clever" to the point it's sitting on the edge between cash grab and scam.
It's very easy to recognize them, but there is no effective tool to get rid of them.
If Steam wants to let these guys be on Steam? Ok, that's their business.
But at least give me effective tools so I don't have to waste time sifting through this garbage.
