Implement Paraguayan currency for Steam. (GUARANIES or ₲)
Hello!
I speak for all of us from Paraguay, we need the Guaranies currency (₲), why does our neighboring countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, have their own currency on steam, but here we are with the USD currency. It makes no sense.
It is too expensive for us to buy a game for 80usd, while our neighboring countries can buy the same game for 60usd or even less.

We have a minimum wage of 361 USD.
We have almost the same salary as Argentina, but we have to pay 200% more for the same game of 80usd (they only pay 40usd).

Argentina has a population of 45 million (and not all of them play Steam games). Paraguay has 6.8

Developers/Publishers already have the tools to create region specific listings so they can offer different pricing. If they haven't done that for you, take it up with them, not Steam.

We have the same currency as EE.UU, the price they put on USA is the same for us. We currently do not have our own currency in steam for some reason.

Argentina has the most taxes applied to their purchases.

That's absolutely true. I might have used a bad example so I'll use another one, Uruguay is similar in taxes to us, a little more but almost the same, and they have their own currency on Steam.
Honestly, if I could just have my currency and expensive games it would be fine, I won't be able to buy 80usd games but atleast gonna have my currency lol

One of the requirements for devs to think about using your countries currency, is that said currency (when added to Steam) must be worth so much on a GLOBAL scale (not sure the exact amount).
Another requirement would be that a certain percentage of Steams user base must be in that region for Steam to want to use your currency on their platform, Turkey and Argentina though the currencies are not worth much now, were better when they first got added and both countries have enough Steam users for their currency to be on Steam.

I hope they add Paraguay currency to Steam eventually so it can be easier to purchase games, good luck :)

I don't think it's about population because Uruguay has a smaller population, but Steam still has the Uruguay peso from what I can see

That's because Steam doesn't care about Paraguay.

Maybe you guys shouldn't care about Steam too.
