Ability to restore mistakenly deleted posts & threads
Sometimes you hit delete instead edit, therefore an ability to restore a mistakenly deleted post or thread should be available.

There is no ability to do so because it is a moderator function.

Click on "activity" under your name, then choose "My comment history" on the right. It will show all your posts, including deleted ones (which will appear dark grey). You can copy the text from your deleted post and post it again.
