Allow Streaming non-steam games to Steam Deck

With the Steam Link I can stream any game from my PC's library, even non-steam games. Please add this capability to the Steam Deck! Maybe this is already possible and someone could help me with the correct configuration!

Specifically this is for Diablo IV, incase you're wondering. And yes I know Diablo IV runs on Linux and Steam Deck great, but it runs much better on my PC

The difference is the device. Steam Link supports streaming non-steam games, while the Steam Deck does not. This is a feature request to add that capability to the Steam Deck.

The Steam Link app is separate from the main Steam client, have you tried installing that from Discover?

@Marble you're suggesting that, on the steam deck, I drop to the Linux UI and install the steam link app. Then use the steam link app from there instead of the main steam client?

It is just crazy enough to work..

Here are the steps you must follow:

1. Switch Deck to Desktop Mode
2. Download the Non-Steam Game
3. Add the Game to Steam Launcher
4. Enable “Proton Experimental” Tool
5. Customize your Non-Steam Game
