If you can already stream non-Steam games from your PC, what's the issue?
The difference is the device. Steam Link supports streaming non-steam games, while the Steam Deck does not. This is a feature request to add that capability to the Steam Deck.
It is just crazy enough to work..
1. Switch Deck to Desktop Mode
2. Download the Non-Steam Game
3. Add the Game to Steam Launcher
4. Enable “Proton Experimental” Tool
5. Customize your Non-Steam Game
