Is the discovery que broken? I only see bad an games!
So? is the discovery que broken? For a long while no i only get BS suggestions for games. Games that has nothing to do with games i have. This is suggested because you have these games(GTA V, Red dead).. and it is some low grade retro sidescroller. HOW? How is that even remotely the same?!!?

I havent had a good discovery in the que for almost a year now. Maybe people dont release good games on steam anymore? but that isnt it. i know. I get suggestions from games with like 15 reviews. Some even none. Is there no filter i can use to filter out the useless crap games?

I really hope i can. Im not interested in them.

If you run the discovery queue quite often, it runs out of suitable games to show you and starts throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.

It's based on tags. So if games have shared tags, they're "similar".

I generally only run the DQ when trading cards can be had during the major sales events.

How many games have you reviewed in your queue?
How many games have you wishlisted/followed/ignored?

If you run it too often it'll simply 'run out of games' and start scratching the bottom of the barrel.

Can you reset the que? Start over? Because i also dont get new releases in the que where i would be interested in.

I have 18,420 items seen in the que
660 items on my wishlist
like 500 games on the account itself. And i dont know how much DLC to be honest.

I like to discover games. new stuff. Now i just get crap. Even though i know new good games come out every day. i just dont get to see them for some reason.

Do you have a lot if ignored tags or games as well? I have the opposite problem where they always shove new crap in the Queue I am not interested in.

But i just am constantly being pushed crap. nobody wants. and i dont get it. Cant i turn that off? They also shove crap with tags in not interested in. Like simulator games or sports games.

Also having a hard time finding games anymore. I know this has been requested before, but I would like to be able to exclude a lot more tags from the Discovery Queue. The few we are allowed are not enough. I don't wan't online games so I have to filter out "MMORPG" "Massively Multiplayer" "MOBA" and "Free to Play" ... I have to spend 4 filter tags just to try and thin out online games.

Since the queue is suggesting junk, I've tried to search for games but that's problematic too because of the same tag mess.

Search for a "Turn-Based" game and end up not seeing something because they didn't use THAT tag ... they used "Turn-Based Strategy" or "Turn-Based Combat" or "Turn-Based Tactics" ...

Feeling the OP's pain. Seems like it's getting harder and harder to FIND a game THROUGH Steam. More often now I'm relying on YouTube or something and coming to Steam and searching directly for a specific title.
With all these bad and broken games and all the money Steam Valve has, one would think they would employ 20 maybe more game testers. But I guess Valve has immense trust in developers.
