Steam deck keyboard on windows 11
the steam keyboard on windows 11 is not comfortable because when I playing non steam game the keyboard is activating by double clicking X on console. Or if I add a non steam game in steam library steam doesn't understand that the I'm playing and I don't need the keyboard now. I think that deactivation steam keyboard in the settings is a good feature .

Yes, that would be great.
Everything Deck related is what Big Picture Mode is. It got the full UI from the Deck.

The keyboard, in general, hasn’t really worked properly from the start. Valve’s tweaked it more than once.

Best place to ask for Windows Deck advice is on the r/DeckonWindows Reddit sub.
This is a big picture mode issue and not a windows issue.

It's not a blame game. The Deck on Windows sub has various tweaks and plugins for general Deck and Windows weirdness. It's hardly news that using Windows on the Deck is a bit more fiddly - that's something every Deck user knows.

If you want a problem to get fixed, you need to adress its cause. The windows sub has nothing to do with big picture mode nor is it their job to fix big picture mode related problems.

No one said anything about them fixing anything or that it's not something that needs to get sorted.

But until then, OP most likely will find some useful workarounds in that subreddit. Expecting them to just wait when the community might have a simple solution right now is kinda odd.

(Technically, this post would be better in the Deck section and not a Client or Steam store suggestion section - https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/0/)

Edit: As I said in my reply to OP, Valve knows about the annoyance that is the on-screen keyboard. There are threads in the Deck bug section.

You can terminate steam and the keyboard will not be activated. But this solution is not comfortable.
