Why can I only report once to an abusive user?
Match the same fraudulent user in the same game over and over again.
Please allow me to report fraud each time.
This should make it easier to identify malicious users.
Fraudulent users don't always cheat just once.

You'd have to take that up with the devs of whatever game you are talking about. This forum is for steam not any individual game, click on the game in your library and go to that games discussion page from there

I got here because of the link provided by support.
I'm talking about profile screens.
I'm not talking about individual games, but about Steam as a whole.

Ah, thats the usual "this isn't our problem" fob off that support always gives. The profile report function for cheating is entirely just data gathering for Valve and does NOT lead to any action on the reported account.

In short, once you've reported them, there is literally no point in reporting them again, you've already provided all the feedback about it that Valve cares about, it will not lead to them being banned or anything of the sort. It doesn't play ANY factor in the treatment of their account.

If you want someone to be dealt with for cheating you need to report them to the devs of the game, usually by use of ingame reporting

Because people love to spam the report button to try get instant results, which can generate a lot of noise.

One report is usually enough. If the user is generally toxic, more reports from other users will link to it.

Opening the blocker brings up the Steam profile screen, so it ends up being a Steam issue.
In addition, blocking does not mean that unauthorized users will disappear.
Learn not to be the root solution.

"One report is usually enough. "
????
Because you say such a thing, unauthorized users will continue to exist forever.

Steam has NO power to deal with cheaters. Even games owned by Valve are not developed by the same people who develop the steam platform.

Thats like saying you bought the game at walmart so they should have to deal with the cheaters. Guess how many reports THEY take for cheating.

Steam is the store, and does not even have ACCESS to ban players from games.

You spamming the report button won't get cheaters dealt with faster. I get you're angry at getting cheaters in your games, but rage induced report spam isn't the solution.

Most games feature a block option to not be matched with other users.

On one thing you're right: Unfortunately cheaters will continue to exist forever. It's part of the experience and there's no silver bullet to get rid of all of them.

That's why shouldn't it be possible to report every time you find fraud, not just once?
Do you want to cheat so much?

You're reporting the fraudster, not the fraud.
