Stop approving rape simulators

The game Slave Doll has been approved by Value. It went on sale today, and currently lists " two types of unconscious r*** " as a gameplay feature. This is one of only four features advertised.

6 months ago, Value approved a game called Elf Farm. Its sales page currently advertises the option for a player to arrange for a woman to be r***** by a cow.

Suggestion: Valve should either change their policies or go back to Greenlight.

That's a logical leap / tacked on assumption.

The more immediate and likely explanation is there simply aren't many games like that. Steam wouldn't arbitrarily reject them and allow the same game with roles reversed.

I don't expect anyone to laugh, but I also would not care what they demand either when I can buy whatever game is on Steam with my money. Yes rape is bad, its one of the worst traits of humanity, but it's not going to be something in my mind when I play an adult game, seriously the question of "I wonder if I should go ask a real world rape victim what they think of this game" has never crossed my mind, nor will it ever be something that any mature person would do.

Here's the whole thing that can be summed up: Does it effect you? If not, then whats the issue? Do games effect people? Studies have shown they don't beyond the twitter and social media parrots that repeat everything they see. Are these games hurting people? No not in any single way are they hurting people.

There's a scale of density that still baffles me to this very day and I'm not going to even care if you report this post for me saying this.


Mind your own damn business, what I do with my money and my free time has no baring on what you do in your own free time as long as its not hurting other people. Don't like it? Good for you, I don't care in any form if you do or don't. I hate rape as much as the next person but what were seeing here is people thinking their personal feelings on a digital pixels is something the world agree's with and clearly the world has shown that is not the case.

Melty's Quest and Treasure Hunter Clair both involve a goddess basically raping the heroes and main hero several times, especially Melty's quest where the main hero, a girl, can win the prolog fight (that is impossible to win without completing the game once and doing a new game+) where the demon takes the hero over and they rape the king and steward right in the freaking throne room.

To be clear, since I forgot to mention this detail :
I've seen games like that (with the roles reversed). ...just not on Steam.

However, it's not something that I think would be appropriate for me to share 3rd party links to...

There's a few on Steam > Post #52, the irony of a game looking like it may not have said content is the fact that they hide it rather well till you play the game and either run into it by mistake or by failing a quest or some jazz like that
