Make prices cheaper in Romania too.

Hello, my name is PICHO and I am from Romania. My suggestion is to make prices cheaper on steam in Romania too. I know that in some countries steam prices are cheaper than in others. I am here because Romania is not a very wealthy country.

Let's compare Romania with the US, in Romania the average salary per month is 3.000 RON (730 USD) and in the US the average salary per month is 1.300 USD (5.335 RON). As you can see there is a big difference between these 2 of 570 $. Considering that 1 USD is 4,10 RON

Now let's compare the prices of games.
In the US the new game named Fall Guys is 19.99 $, and in Romania is 23 $.

Now, let's compare the average salary in Russia, where games are a lot cheaper with the Romanian salary. Here in Romania, the average salary per month is 3.000 RON (730 USD) (54.650 RUB) and in Russia 45000 RUB (2.500 RON) (600 USD). Now you can see that there is a 500 RON (120 USD) difference between Russian and Romanian salaries. And a 690 $ difference between Russian and US salaries.

Now let's compare the prices of games.
In Russia, the price of Fall Guys is 6 $ and in Romania 23 $. With 68% cheaper.

This is not fair. The difference between the Russian and Romanian salaries are very small. And between Romania or Russia and the US is very BIG.
Steam devs need to change this because for the people from Romania these prices are very expensive.
If someone from steam sees this, please do something about this problem.

Romania is a member of the EU and the EU disallows geo-fenced price discrimination within its internal market. The EU actually took 5 major publishers who were guilty of the practice and Valve, who facilitated them, to court over this some time ago.

The only legal way prices in Romania can be lowered is to lower prices across the entire EU. And that simply will not happen.

Romania has its own currency. They could have their own prices (different than prices in Euro) If Steam supported the Romanian Leu.
