Get rid of retired community moderator badge

Some may be good, but they were bad. And shouldn't have a badge, especially since if people see that badge or scroll through their profile, then they may take their word over anyone else.

So get rid of the retired community moderator badge; they don't need a badge anyway to show for their service as they know what they did.

Maybe just send them a physical badge but get rid of the digital one. or send them an email.

this is exactly the type of negitive issues we are seeing from steam ex moderators , and ex moderators associations.

if you don't have any information as to why ex moderators should keep a badge or loose it you would be off topic.

which you are. the topics not about me, its about the stalking that goes on in steam due to a small group of individuals that are connected to ex moderators, i think steam would be a safer and more informative place without having ex moderators contributing anything to the forum.

they where invovled in dangerous activity on steam and abused the power, allowing them to continue to be a part of steam forums has negitively impacted steam forum for large numbers of real users.

Community mods were not part of 'dangerous activity' on the forums. Saying so is an absolute lie. Unless, that is, you can provide proof of this activity to the users here.

yeah i agree i think the ex moderators should get a special back ground , maybe a coupon for a game, or maybe force them all to return all the thefted items stolen from users while they where moderating, maybe go back into steams trade dates and remove all the moderator trading that took place over the time they where moderators, users giving them items to get people banned, have forum posts closed, or just general theft where moderator privlages where abused.

Infact just recently i reviewed a exmoderator group it was shocking, i found information that a ex moderator removed reviews from users that where banned from reviews so they could repost bad reviews at certain games, they laughed about it and said how they would prob get back lash later from real steam moderators but didn't care since they where out the door anyway being retired.

whats more funny is the real fact is even more scary then my fiction, im just a typcial lazy steam user, if i can uncover all this stuff, image what steams real investigators found, its no wonder they let the ex moderators go, i think the fact they let them keep ex moderator badge was so they could keep them in view of legal alligations if any of the accused theft was brought up in court at a later date, you know steam will be the first to scape goat them to save its own.
