Left 4 Dead 2/Left 4 Dead remake?
I noticed that the Valve team is using the new Source 2 engine to remake CSGO into CS2, is it possible to remake Left 4 Dead 2 using the Source 2 engine in the future?🤔

Rather have a left 4 dead 3 there is no point in remaking the game since people still play it on Xbox series x and and PC.

That also includes left 4 dead.

Maybe it would be okay if they added it to Playstation if they did but if not then no remake isn't something that is needed.

A left 4 dead 3 though is.

And if they remake left 4 dead 2 they might as well remake left 4 dead.

Also I'm pretty sure suggestions and ideas is for steam not their games.

Remake! What's so great about this game?!
I think Valve South(Turtle Rock Studios) leaving Valve is the reason why Left 4 Dead 3 is so hard to launch.
But I think upgrading the Left 4 Dead 2 or Left 4 Dead engine to the Source 2 engine is a relatively workable compromise.
Compared to the distant and hopeless Left 4 Dead 3, the remake of Left 4 Dead 2/Left 4 Dead is a compromise that will allow the classic series to shine again for old gamers, and thanks to the use of the new Source 2 engine, the quality of the game will be even more refined and close to modern games, and even attract more new gamers.

The above is my opinion, you are welcome to put forward your own views, I will be open to suggestions.

There will never be a L4D3..... because Valve doesn't know how to count to 3....

If you want to make suggestions for a game, go post in the games discussion area, the ones working on the game will see stuff there and not here because this is the suggestions and ideas area to make the steam client and website better. Has nothing to do with the games.

Roger, I'm posting here because the feedback I got from Steam customer service is linked here.

Steam support always tells people to post here when they get anything that even hints its of a suggestion or idea... we wish they would stop telling people to do that and tell them the right places to post stuff like that or just out right tell them, no.

Steam support is for billing and account issues only. Nothing about games.

As long as they make it to Playstation too this time around.

It valves platform, if they say post in suggestions and ideas then it fine.

Gamers don't control the Platform Valve does. However could they possibly tell them to post in games form probably but this game is Valves game so therefore it is relevant.

Posting a suggestion for a game in the games discussion area, perfectly fine.

Posting a suggestion for a game in the suggestions and ideas area for the steam client or website is pointless because the people who work on the game are not looking in this section for ideas for their game. This even includes Valve games.

So did valve developers deliberately say this for their games not talking about other games as that is obvious.

If you say read pin thread but that thread was created by a volunteer.

Maybe if valve says it in pin threads their selves then maybe people will listen to it.

Did valve tell you that they don't look at suggestions and ideas for their games.

Support telling people to post in these forums is exactly as Gwarsbane said, it's a polite way to say "this is not something we deal with, please go somewhere else". This has been confirmed in the past.

The game dev left Valve and made Back 4 Blood. Valve themselves very unlikely will create L4D3.

Valve owns left 4 dead so very likely. Turtle rock didn't make left 4 dead, back 4 blood is very clear sign of that.

It's amazing how often you post nonsense and incorrect information.

Lmao. You think turtle rock made left 4 dead? Your dead wrong about that. Valve made it. It a clear sign they did because we all seen how back 4 blood turned out. Turtle rock hasn't made a single good game. I don't post misinformation or nonsense.
