Identifying friends that have gifted you things

Over the years I have bought friends gifts and vise versa, but at some point I forget who might've done so (it's usually a random act of kindness), and I wish there was a star or something next to their name or something to help identify people that have gifted you things. (also attaching my other idea of organizing your games by when you bought them and/or being able to see the date of when you purchased them).

No.

In my inventory, I can look at my gift history, and I can see who I gifted a game to and when, but I cannot see who gifted a game to me. Those just show up as "Gift/Guest Pass" in Licence & Key activations. The only way to keep track of who gifted you a game is to either write it down when it happens, or save every email from Steam notifying you that you got a gift of a game (I think the emails say who sent the gift...I think.).

It would be nice if the gift history in Inventory showed both given and received.

It would be nice. I Wish I knew exactly who so I could buy them something when I can. Like someone bought me Soul Cal VI and I don't remember who it was. I was also unaware you could see purchase history
