Make the Steam forums an unmoderated free for all.
There's really no point in enforcing rules on a series of forums which need no moderation. Game developers clearly refuse to read the boards and acknowledge problems with their product. People clearly do not respect opposing points of view.

So let's just let everything be free of moderation so we can all say what we want without having to filter it.

If we don't like people, we can block them.

Easy.

It’s always the most toxic trolls that don’t want moderation. Like your post history is public, and one barely gets past the fold before being buried in an encyclopedia worth of violations

Oh I've paid for those violations already. After that, it's a matter of following the rules while also denouncing toxic DRM policies en masse.

A lack of moderation would give us all the liberty to simply speak how we really feel, rather than filter it through a ton of unneeded factors which hold back our actual thoughts.

And once again: developers don't read or respond to Steam posts, so it affects nobody in the long run if moderation goes out the window.

And, with respects to you, keep on topic to the post rather than something as irrelevant as my post history. Thank you.

Just like Twitter where various epithets against non-whites and non-straight people rose almost 500%.

I never knew a single sentence could make me 180 on my own position as hard as that one did.

Your post history is relevant to the discussion as it clearly indicates why you were moderated and why you deem a free for all a benefit for you.

Secondly from the FAQ:

When providing feedback, posting information, or discussing a product in Steam, whether it’s negative or positive, please make sure you are being relevant, constructive and polite.

It already is, for certain users.
no, you can not say something what break the laws, you should be happy that your post has been deleted before police who come to knock or break your door.

Yeah, that's gonna work great... not.
Note even the most infamous sites known for having 'no moderation' actually are moderated.

It's a cycle of life I've seen many times here in steam as well.
-User decides to make an unmoderated Steam group
-People start joining in
-Chaos
-User decides to start moderating his group.

It wouldn't be the trolls that would make it worse. It'd be the unending spam from advertising bots.

They'd be posting thousands of topics per hour making any normal discussion impossible to have.

Write a blog somewhere else then.
Why are you so fixated on speaking out your unfiltered feelings on a privately owned discussion forum? Look at the bottom of the page and you'll see a black footer telling you who owns it.
Is it because of outreach?
You said it yourself that developers don't read these discussion forums (even though that's obviously not true for every game forum), so I don't know what outreach you are expecting here.
There's a very fine minority of users that use these forums; literally no one worth riling up about DRM policies here. Especially not if it gets your account enforced for whatever reason.

Unmoderated forums would only look like a sea of this:

Game devs already can choose to let game hubs be unmoderated if they so wish. After all, they can simply disable the Steam Support assistance, not appoint moderators and not moderate themselves.

"Unneeded factors?" If you can't express your "actual thoughts" civilly, then it's less about criticism and more about pushing "us vs them" rhetoric, which is unwelcome and not productive.

Also, "The system isn't perfect, so let's burn the whole thing down" is not exactly a reasonable stance.

You literally cannot open your own mouth without violating a dozen rules. Literally every post in every forum you make is you just insulting users. DRM to translations to gameplay. The literal only thing you seem capable of doing is insulting people
