A notepad icon (button) in front of each game's play button

Hi,

To leave a note

my most games are managing games and has a precise steps, and sometimes I can't finish them in 1 go or I have to go to other games for events or etc,

and when I come back I usually forget where I was and what should I do next.

With this notepad I can leave a note for myself like where is my main station (in games like Elite dangerous with so many planets and system),

or finish the farm structure in ARK or which server I was playing last time,
and the cheat code in single player.

I hope my explanation was clear enough

Usually I write them down on my notebook or on my iphone notepad but they are hard to organised and to find it quickly.

I already send a pic with details explanation to steam support and they guided me here.

The Beta version of Steam's upcoming update includes this feature. You can alt-tab and bring up a notepad that's linked to that specific game for notes and reminders. It can be a pretty useful feature.

Now with the Game Notes in the beta branch (coming soon to the stable branch), you can add a note the last time you played either in the games overlay or in the library page itself.

I simply want an icon in front of my game's play button (each game separately)

Not a third party app or a shortcut key (except Alt+Tab (the windows one))

I hope if they're doing it, make it simple not confusing or majestic or put it in shift+tab section

siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmple and usable on my steam's app on iPhone, that way I can check it and edit it without Alt+Tab it out of game

The new Notes app lets you jot down... notes about the game that you’re currently playing. It comes with rich text formatting, the ability to have multiple notes per game, and can even be used in offline mode. These notes are saved per game and are synced across to any other PCs you are logged into, and are also accessible outside the in-game overlay, on the game details page.

It's really fantastic and neat

If they can put it on the game's page (outside of the game) that would be great too, right now you need to run the game and use the Shift+Tab,

I mean inside the overlay is great and it's in a great place

but if they can make an icon outside too and stays there even if we uninstall the game.

The BETA version is so BOLD lol.

It is on the library game details page too. Near the achievements section on the right.
