Make an option to toggle "Additional Confirmation Needed" popup when trading/selling/buying from the market
This is part of a security that i want to be added, i want all of the transactions with confirmations all the time with every single transaction i make and not just randomly because whats the point of having confirmation popup if its not for every transaction and with that add a confirm all option in the steam mobile app.

But since i have seen some folks not liking this option at all, i thought its better to make this an optional choice.

The reason why i want this to be added because of a recent incident that happened to my account without my knowledge which led me to lose all of my money because the hacker took advantage of steam not asking for confirmations and was free to do everything in the market. Even with steam guard and 2FA and all, they could pull this off.

This can happen to any of us in the future so steam if possible make this option happen

EDIT: if the hacker gets access to the account and want to toggle this option off they would have to have verify via email or phone before doing anything

If it's an option that can be toggled on or off, it would be useless. Because if someone is already in your account, they can simply toggle it off.

if steam could make turning this option off with verification via email or mobile app it would not be useless.
like if they want to go to the settings and turn the option off they will have the need to access the email or the phone
for example the option to remove/change your phone/email exists and if you want to do any changes you have to do extra steps that the hacker would not be able to do

ik it does seem weird making everything with verifications but its a good option to have imo

It would only make most people to turn it off the moment it appears. No one will use it until something happens.

The reason Valve doesn't add more security measures, is because they make more profit when people lose their things.

Thankfully for Valve they have an army of loyal fans to shut down any negative press.

i agree with ppl not caring about this option but doesnt mean its a useless feature and thats the point everyone free with toggling it off or on

Which is how changing the device your mobile auth is in works. And people already give away that SMS code to attackers.
