Survivors TAG:genre

Vampire survivors started new genre where the most called it : "Survivors" and as many games add it to name we should have new tag:genre called survivors to allow players easy search for Survivors games as now it's hard and even some good know games that are Survivors and have the same game sense these games have tottally different tags. It's hard to search for games of this type sometimes.

Tags are user generated, so start tagging.

Personally I don't agree on it. Survivors is a broad term that isn't confined to just those types of games.

Bullet Hell Survivor, or something similar, is better suited.

Tags are community given so you have to have a lot of people tag it as survivors or another word.

At least it's nowhere as bad as M.ultiplayer O.nline B.attle A.rena which fits a lot of modern competitive FPS games.

Go to the storepage of the game. On the right click the plus icon where the tags are. On the right there is a section to add tag with a type box. Put it in and hit add. Once enough people add that tag it will show on the storepage.

Developers choose them manually from already existing, AFAIK.

Survivors-like games are basically Bullet Hell/Heaven or Reverse Bullet Hell games.

Developers choose manually tags. They can even decide the order they're in for weighting purposes.

It's all in the Steamworks documentation. Developers who told you it's automatic clearly did not read the material.
