If permanent, still nice to know that it's a permanent bundle discount or it has an end date..
This might just be a case where you need to be told something that's obvious for most people, and say, "oh, yes, I see" and go on a little wiser. You having some confusion may not necessarily be a problem the system needs to resolve in every case.
No need to assume anything. For one I am well versed in Steam mechanics. I brought this to forum attention as a suggestion because of the highly unusual price difference between the aggregate product cost sole separately and the bundle cost without owning any of the bundled products.
An end date or a state of permanent discount would communicate information to the customer. Said my peace, offered my suggestion, All be well my friends.
If you're well versed in Steam mechanics then the price shouldn't have confused you so much.
The games aren't on sale, and the if the developers wants the bundle to be an extreme discount, that's their choice. They can change it as they see fit. There's no particular end date to display or other information about the bundle to display.
Again, your confusion may not warrant a change to the system. If you have additional questions about the bundle or the price, those would be for the developers to address. The game's forums might be a resource as well.
No price is permanent. Prices can change, and that also goes for bundles. If they told you it was permanent and then later changed it you'd have words to say about that, no?
So the current price is the price, and there's no particular end date to display, or other information.
it should say if this is a permanent bundle deal OR if its a sale / expiration.. not a huge deal but can be confusing at times especially when your sorting through a game with a TON of DLC
Gracias. Thank you for making my case for an ending date.
@nullable disagrees with you.
Edit: Maybe "permanent" is too strong a word to use in this case. "Set price" is probably more appropriate. In either case, the price and the discount is chosen by the publisher and is set to only change when they deem it appropriate to change. Therefore, there is no future end date. It is simply the price, or bundle discount, that is considered current.
Devs can change the discount on a bundle at any time so they are not permanent. Case in point is the Yakuza remastered bundle. Was $15 with the bundle discount and now it is $40. None of the games were on sale at the time of he bundle discount.

Exactly and you further make the case for my suggestion. Let me divulge to you what is didactic. A bundle discount is a sale especially since the developer can change it at any time. It may not look like sale, smell like sale but yes it is a sale and since when is more information for the customer bad?
