I mean you can already create collections, create filters, etc

A 'custom order' doesn't even make much sense

What do you mean it doesn't make sense? I want the games sorted in my personal order of how I like the games for example, how does that need to make sense?

I can't decide the order for games inside the collection.

Agreed. Whether it's custom sorting ot letting us rename the games locally only in the library (so not broadcasted in the activity feed, chat, etc) would be very welcome.

Absolutely. Very frustrating, especially with games with sequels, to not be able to sequence correctly. This should be feature, custom name or custom sequence in the collection in the library.

For example, I have the following game in my "Fighting Games" folder.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary
Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter V
Ultra Street Fighter IV

I would rather have these displayed in a logical numerical order of 3, 4, 5, 6... but due to the actual titles that doesn't work. If I change the sort to "release date" then 3 ends up after 4 because it's an anthology edition that was released later. Even if release date worked, the large year-based gaps on the "release date" view is ugly. I would love to be able to manually sort and adding a custom title option, or creating a custom list would go a long way towards helping out all of us OCD people.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
