LGBT Auto Recommendations
This is a small thing but one time I played Camp Buddy Scoutmaster which is one of those silly visual novel “dating” sim games and ever since Steam automatically recommends sexy games, but only straight ones. I’m not bothered nor complaining but if the goal is to sell me games maybe make the algorithm that suggests other adult games based on your history detect if those were lgbt games. Whenever I log into the Steam to game browse it’s just a sea of “based off playing camp buddy…” then rows and rows of anime girls with huge racks getting… well you know what they are getting. Again not comparing but like… it’s a gay game triggering the system to send me waves and waves of breasts all day long… kind of not practical all things considered but kind of funny.

Again, this is just a silly thing but if ya want to sell me games maybe flooding my recommend and discover queue with volleyball sized breasts as far as the eye can see isn’t the way to do it… given my play history… ;)

The Auto Recommendations can be changed for what its worth

Open up the front store
Look at the top and to the far left there is Labs
Go to Steam Labs and 014 will change how Recommendations work for you in the future

Its alot more useful then the auto default one by several miles
Ahahaha.
Too bold to ask this in community but too shy to make your profile public. :CHEAD:
Ha! I actually forgot it was set to private, did that a long time ago. The most I’ve done with my profile page is click around for random things to spend my steam points on then end up setting it back to what I had before anyway,
Addressing a concern in the Steam community: there seems to be a blending of content in the Discovery queue between straight and LGBT-based adult games. As a player of the latter, it's disconcerting to be presented with content that doesn't align with personal preferences without prior consent. While tags exist to distinguish games, the Discovery queue appears to overlook these nuances. Requesting a thoughtful consideration to implement a clearer divide in the queue, providing users with a more tailored and respectful experience. Let's ensure all players feel comfortable and valued on the platform.

Or the devs/publishers accidentily forget to mark it as such. Like with BG3.
This is like if I were to get upset when I bought GTA5 and the first character you play is a black man. Its simple-no one is here to feel valued or comfortable. We are here to buy and play games, and play them how we want. No matter how you align, its your computer, buy what you want and game how you want. You want to play LBGT, cool go for it. I get ads in the mail all the time for fruits and vegetables and toilet paper, but I eat burgers and sandwiches primarily. The grocery stores don't have to cater to my eating habits, and I don't feel any less-valued or uncomfortable getting those ads. I just throw them away and keep eating roast beef sandwiches. No one has to cater to me, I build my life how I like it, and you should too.

And GTA was awesome by the way, I just got tired of getting hookers so I went out and got myself a real life hooker! :steamhappy:

How is this "bold", specifically?

Man, you really have an axe to grind with that game, don't you? Do you even own it?

While I do possess the game, I would appreciate the option to set preferences during browsing to avoid content like HuniePop appearing in my feed. Games with customizable preferences, akin to Mass Effect, should feature a tag system that distinguishes them, ensuring they don't impact the Discovery queue or similar features.
