does steam regulate dev bots?
does steam care if devs are making bots that are designed to look like players in their games?

how do i flag this for an underachiever award
you zero bot accounts i don't how much you get paid, but obviously it is enough to support what i am going to take a wild guess at and say is a fully unwarranted lifestyle

Profiles set to private or friends always show as lvl 0, that doesn't mean they're bots.

The advice they gave is accurate, you report the game through the store page and move on. Brigading/trying to out a game on the forums will only lead to forum bans.
No, on the contrary: Steam even benefits from that.

ask a shill question and get answered by another in a long series of shill bots. you really think that will do anything?

can you cite examples where this worked?

Speculation, allusion, or do you have concrete evidence of this?

Not a bot, my friend, nor is Hotsauce. You were given the accurate way to report a game that abuses player statistics. You're just not liking the answer.

The moment you default to screaming "shill" to an answer you dislike, you've already lost.

That game that had AI bots to fill teams, that don't contribute to player count?
Hell, even TF2 has AI bots, those don't contribute to playercount either. Lol

that i should take your voice as truth. your first mistake.

crying shill does nothing but lend toward transparencies between players and the publishers. your second.

You literally defaulted to screaming "bot" on a correctly given answer, then tried to scream "shill" at me for confirming the answer was correct.

You're going to be screaming shill at anyone who doesn't adhere to your narrow viewpoint, I'm sure.

You have the capabilities to report a game that you think is misrepresenting itself right there on the store page.

Steam doesn't support, at least openly, bait and switch by game devs.
All friends only and private profiles display as "Level 0" due to their desired personal preference.

That being said, there's information being left out of this; the details. Some game servers can fill with bots so there's something to fight, but as players join the bots are removed, if enough players all the bots may be removed.

So the question is, if this is what is happening or if it's just npcs that can move around. Details are important.
