Open the overlay, open the browser and close the tabs that are playing the store page videos.

You can also delete the browser cache in the properties menu of the game itself.

cant you just by default turn off audio?

I may have fixed it by closing everything and/or restarting. But the problem was the ad would end and replay after about 30 seconds. repeatedly. I think the owners realized their mistake and stopped it from replay.

Nope, it's back. Everytime I try to play my game, this loud ad from Steam Deck Blares endlessly. Sure I can turn sound off but then I can't hear my preferred sounds. It ends only when I close SteamwebHelper in task manager but starts again on its own

If any store page video keeps playing while gaming, that's why.

Yeah, well, I was getting pretty hot headed over that infernal noise. I was definitely getting ready to CTRL-ALT-DEL so they better watch out. :)
