the option isn't there. regardless of whether or not it used to I'm asking to have it now.
And yet you insisted an option that never existed was removed.
Valve created Steam to update their games and secondly to give other developers an easy way to update the games they own. The default is always update hence why when you press play on a game set to "only update when i launch it" it actually updates the game if there is an update available.
The developer can use version choice via branches giving you choice over which version of the game which stops auto updating but it is their choice to do so.
i'm asking for a way to change the settings of all games at once so I don't have to manually do it one by one. let's keep it at that.
