Can we please get an emoji for sarcasm
As the title suggests, an emoji added to the limited grid of emojis that can be added to the forums. Due to diversity of societies that contribute to the discussions in the game forums, not everyone gets my sarcasm and I come across as mean or bullying to some. It would be easier if we can add an emoji to show a comment is sarcasm.

An example: I posted this on the Gen Zero forum as sarcasm, "you can not have an opinion till you get 2000 hours in the game". It was not directed to anyone, but to some, it did not come off as sarcasm. At times I have tried adding *sarcasm* but a emoji would be easier.

Thank you for the consideration.

I feel you. The other day I made some hot takes on Twitter by adding 'kappa' at the end but only a few people understand -,- the rest of them attacked me like am the most dangerous criminal on earth. some even bother to make a new account, impersonate my @___ and spam my old tweets with slurs, an attempt to make people believe that I tweet all that lul. :cinnamon2:

With that being said, I don't think an emoji could help to abridge your true intention, in this case, sarcasm, in the same way, that you are more likely to not laugh when you feel the need to hear an explanation on the joke that you didn't get.

Imagine I'm making a reply to someone, "You cannot have an opinion till you get 2000 hours in the game." then I insert a "this is sarcasm" emote or a new feature that lets you tag to label your post as sarcasm. You may think this can help people to understand, when it is not entirely wrong, it could make things even worse. There will be a situation where people will abuse this feature. They will make a controversial statement and for the sake of fun, they will label it as sarcasm when in fact it is a barefaced insult. I have seen plenty of threads here where people ask for the removal/change of the Jester emote because they are offended by it. Adding this feature will just escalate the situation. :cocochan2:

A wiseman once said, "being smart and wise is not a gift but a punishment, because you have to deal with those that dont have it." I think we just have to accept the fact that our joke/sarcasm is not for everyone so it will always come with a risk.

Do a search of what a sarcastic emoji looks like. It could be a simple upside down smiley.

The upside down smiley has like 5 meanings. It's nearly impossible to denote sarcasm.

I did do a search on Google and I mostly found that there is no such thing as an actual sarcasm emoji. People occassionally use the upside down one, deadpan one and rolleyes one. The latter two I can connect to sarcasm, but the upside down one I can sincerely not connect to sarcasm.

Agree with all of this
Sarcasm is in your delivery and context, not in an emoji. In order to convey it on a forum, sometimes you have to go over the top a bit.

We can get a lot of useful info from forums but a few find them a source to cause grief for others.
