QR CODE SUPPORT FOR HUAWEI USERS
Bringing steam guard huawei qr code reading feature may be good for huawei users

Does the QR scan feature require GG services? I just switch from my old phone and notice this

So Steam app uses google service to scan the qr code? And since HUAWEI (correct me if I'm wrong) has been banned from US, and is not using google apps in the platform, it cannot?

The app jsut calls the camera api to scan the QR code

Ah, that could be the issue. Mine is quite an old model.
