Add-on content (DLC's) are always installed directly according to the standard, but in the case of Ark: Survival Evolved, that's over 300 GB. I don't think anyone can or wants to play all the maps at the same time.

Therefore, I find it nice if there is an option or message for me as a user, which additional content you want to install with.

Otherwise, the hidden and subsequent option -

Settings => Downloads = Steam library folder => Game xyz => Additional content (in small, under the game) => Selection of additional content => the three dots (Top right) folder Repair, announced.

So so 2-3 Map's are enough, what then also equal to about 100 - 150 GB can be. (depending on the map)

But I find it much nicer if you can set it before, what you want to download. You can leave it altogether, but with deselection possibilities, which are not hidden.

If a game has additional content, this is shown to you and you have the option to deselect this.

Daher finde ich es schön wenn es eine Option oder Meldung für mich als Benutzer gibt, welche Zusatzinhalte man mit Installieren will.

Ansonsten ist die Versteckte und nachträgliche Option -

Einstellungen => Downloads = Steam-Bibliotheksordner => Spiel xyz => Zusatzinhalte ( in klein, unter den Spiel) => Auswahl der Zusatzinhalte => die drei Punkte (Oben rechts) Ordner Reparieren, angesagt.

Also so 2-3 Map's reichen, was dann auch gleich ca. 100 - 150 GB sein können. ( je nach Map)

Doch viel schöner finde ich es wenn man es vorher Einstellen kann, was man Runterladen will. Man kann es ja insgesamt lassen, jedoch mit Abwahl Möglichkeiten, die nun mal Nicht versteckt sind.

Hat ein Spiel also Zusatzinhalte wird einem dieser Angezeigt und man hat die Möglichkeit diesen abzuwählen.

Before I install it ! Yes ok, but it is much more ingenious if you get the message what you want to install when you press download.
