add to shopping cart button on game titles in the store section & tabs feature in the STEAM APP...
Hi there, & happy new year, good folks.

Can we please have a little button that add's the game title one wants to the shopping cart, without taking the person to the shopping cart each and every time.

also a TABs Feature is needed in the store section ASAP.
this single workspace is lacking to say the least. when i buy items i buy in bulk, thus during the course of seeing specials and new games, i have to use my browser to review new items and specials, because i dont just see one thing and go ahh, no i see something that i might like, open a tab of it, and carry on searching, once done this process, i then review everything i've selected, and then pick the items, steams app for the store section needs tabs it will help with this very aspect.

Control+click or middle mouse click store links to open a new window. This will preserve your spot in the search.

Thank You, very much i was blissfully unaware of that!! and its [control + click on the link] and it will open in that little window, its handy, yet the tabs should still be implemented, but this will help for now, thank you once again.

i already do, but i rather do that in steam app in the manner and way i already do so in my web browser, i dont see why its not possible, its nothing crazy thing to improve for the steam app experience for the end user in the store section, note the title, it holds two suggestions that would make the steam app better, not worse.... but do enjoy your day =]

Large parts of the Steam client are based on chromium, which means Valve has deliberately opted to not use tabs at every opportunity. One might wonder what's driving that decision. I'm not arguing against adding tabs per se, I'm not saying it wouldn't be handy. I personally wouldn't mind them. But thinking Valve should add a feature without understanding why it's already been excluded might not yield a strong argument.

From my point of view you can make a stronger argument for the pros, if you understand the cons, no? "Saying I don't understand or know about the cons", doesn't help your idea or thinking out too much.

Your idea isn't bad, I don't disagree with it, but it kinda seems like there's some reason why it's not already utilized is all.
I don't even think we need tabs. I just want to be able to add a game to my cart without leaving my wish list.

you make a very good point concerning valves past trend in having plenty of time for the implementation of this, i know am certainly not the first to have thought about that.

i think if enough ppl just leave a Ya or Nay, sooner or later it will come, ask for it and they shall implementation it =]

I always use a dedicated browser, with tabs. Seeing how Valve more often has a stance of "3rd party tools work fine", I don't think more than the middle mouse click to open a new window will come.

Nah, it doesn't work like that. Various suggestions get made biweekly for years or more than a decade now and haven't been implemented.
