Having a "Reveal Secret" button for hidden achivements

With Xbox achievements having a "Reveal" button, I find it makes it so much easier to get achievements or even work towards them. Now don't get me wrong, I don't want to have completely NO hidden achievements in games, that's just stupid. I just think having a system that allows players (that want to) to reveal what the achievement description is or what they have to do would be better or be more exclusive...

This is why Google exists. You can look it all up.

Plus, Steam has no control over Achievements and Achievement options for games. Only the Developers of those games can control that. So you're preaching to the wrong choir.

There's a link on your achievements page "View Global Achievements" which reveals them all (doesn't specifically point out which ones were the "hidden" ones)

No. He's asking for the "Hidden Achievements" to be not so much. Essentially, he's looking for the easy way to do the things.

It also typically doesn’t reveal whatever associated text the devs gave them — though such text isn’t necessarily all that useful to understanding the associated challenge, anyway.
