Devs these days seem to rely and throw everything on DLSS for maximum fps.
As if "You're not getting 60 fps? No problemo, turn on DLSS/FSR and see the magic" - said by literally every game makers.
Post in the games discussion area, this is the suggestions and ideas area for the Steam client or website which has nothing to do with the game other than telling it to launch.

Valve will not tell game developers to not add denuvo or anything else.
All you can do is speak with your wallet and cancel your preorder. Its stuff like this why I never preorder games to start with. I will wait till Denuvo is removed from a game before buying it and if they never remove it, I never buy it. There has been games that are many years old, on sale for 90% off (or more in some cases depending on where I buy it) and I still won't touch it because of denuvo and I have let the developers know that and their future games removed denuvo quickly or didn't include it in the first place and I bought those ones.
But posting here does nothing because Valve will not pass on your frustration. You need to post in the games discussion area. You need to tell the game developer no to stuff you don't like.
The fact that the devs are leaning so heavuily on hardware features and drivers is gonna pose a problem though. We've seen this before...
but games still leave denuvo on them years later only place that they remove it on is GOG because GOG doesn't let games with DRMs get on their store
No, Denuvo does get removed from games on Steam. It just takes the developer a while to do it usually. Most of the time its long after the DRM has become pointless because the game has already been cracked.
But there are also many games that still have it on long after its been cracked. Most of the time its because the developers are too lazy to remove it or there is no developer around anymore to remove it and its costly to get a developer in to remove it and put up a denuvo free game.
One of the things developers/publishers/IP owners could do is while the game is in active development, keep a copy of a denuvo free game updated and ready to go. And once the game is cracked, remove denuvo right away. But that does cost extra money.
But if they did remove denuvo people like myself would more then likely buy games that currently have it in them. Atomic Heart is on my wishlist, it looks fun. Till Denuvo is gone, I won't touch it. I will speak with my wallet. But I also know I am a rare kind of person who will stick to what they say no matter how long it takes.
The devs make the call on that but it does happen. Fairly frequently.
This one had Denuvo earlier, and then they removed Denuvo from it. But people still complain about Denuvo, even though the developer removed Denuvo from it.
You should buy this title out of principle.
Vote with your wallet. Just don't be surprised if other people vote differently.
I mean for example Deathloop has a Denuvo free version on GOG but not on steam
It doesn't matter. Developers are allowed to do that on Steam.
Exactly what do you have to "go through" when playing Denuvo titles?
I've played plenty and not once have I even seen it anywhere. I haven't had to do anything special to run Denuvo titles.
Performance issues? Well you'll need to provide proof that it actually causes enough performance issues on PCs.
Youtubers have tried to find games that dropped Denuvo and it's a mixed bag. Some got worse. Some got better. Some didn't change.
That is 100% up to the developers to provide that on Steam if they want to. Valve is not going to force them to have the same version with no DRM.
If you want it DRM free on Steam you need to go ask the developer. Valve can't provide a new DRM free version of the game because they don't own it. They don't have the source code for it.
