Steam Link for LG webos
2022 model high-end LG OLED TVs do not have "Steam Link" app. This is a feature requested on the forum for 3-4 years. It's surprising that it hasn't arrived yet.

They’re not going to support a mega custom Os when pretty much everything else is just Android

Somehow in Samsung's Tizen OS from 2016 they were able to add this application - so why not also to WebOS, since it is in the 3 largest SmartTV OS in the world

Yep, not really much benefit to valve to design their software for their proprietary custom OS. Steam link is available on any android device, so have to ask LG to offer android based options.

This was back when there was you know everyone wanted their own bespoke OS to control and Samsung was the biggest TV manufacturer

currently was just looking into using a steam linked tablet to cast to a tv and using the tablet as the middle man with a controller blue tooth while steam linking.


Pc to tablet link : then Tablet to TV cast, anyone know if this is a option

You can mirror your tablet to a chrome cast, sure. You could also hook your tablet to the TV via hdmi with the right dongles.

I sent a request to Steam support, but they only replied to me to take a Samsung TV because they don't have an application on LG
