Filter/Store Tag for release dates/year

Hi,

is it possible to search and browse the Steam Store by release date? Also, I would like to order one of the views in my Steam Library's left column by release date. (Currently I'm only seeing it ordered by last played and/or my other custom groups.

OK, thanks. How do I filter a certain timeframe, say Mar2018 - Jan 2019 for RPGs? I don't want just to scroll down from today to 5 years ago.

You can't. Just like price, you can't specify a range.

Note release dates on Steam aren't that much reliable, as they default (unless the dev/pub corrects it) to the date the game released on Steam.

This is correct and I'm aware of it. F.e. this would affect Exclusives on other digital sales platforms that get released on Steam sometime later.
Still, it would be a cool tool to have for me so I could build more categories for my searches in order to attack my backlog or discuss my gaming memories with other gamers here and on other forums.
