Recognize BitLocker-encrypted drives on Windows
When a drive that contains games is locked, Steam thinks the games on the drives aren't installed. It would be better if the games were marked as playable, but it prompted for your BitLocker password, smart card, etc to decrypt the drive first.

That's because Windows locks the drive from Steam. It wouldn't be something Steam could really do.

Microsoft has documentation to manage BitLocker through other applications.

Which basically is “pass the password to the application” which is … bad

Why are you even using BitLocker on a Steam drive. You’re just decreasing disk performance for no reason. Encrypt the entire partition and get rid of the whole “unlocking” problem
