But of course the developers can always choose to do so. It's their choice.
However, If Valve started making new games, I can definitely see them giving exclusive ingame items to Deck owners.
Other than that all Valve games have been 'exclusives' all the time, as they've only been available through Steam.
Very few games Valve made where ever only available through Steam.
Half Life was on the Playstation 2
Counter Strike was on the OG XBOX.
The Orange Box was on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 were on the Xbox 360.
Portal 2 was on everything including the Switch.
CSGO was on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on release, too.
Exclusives for the Steam Deck would not be a good idea. The Steam Deck is a PC, rather than an actual console. Since PC games can be played on any PC, having exclusives for specific systems wouldn’t be received well by people. Imagine if Elden Ring could only be played on Alienware PCs, Lost Ark could only be played on Asus PCs, or Tekken only worked on MSI PCs. You would probably need several different machines if you wanted to be a PC gamer lol.
Tito means on PC.
No. It's a mobile device designed for portable gaming.
The Deck resolution is 1280x800 fixed at 60Hz. The Occulus have a resolution of 1280x1440 at 80Hz per eye
today i use a google tablet for most of my portable gaming, why does steam deck have a price tag of several 100 but i can get a google tablet for about 90 dollars?? this doesn't make sense

Parents are not gonna dish out 400-700 dollars for kids to play steam games on a handheld, and adults really if your worried about playing games on a hand held you are either jobless and cant afford the steam deck or single and lonely with no kids anyway.
most likely the real reason steam is struggling with steam deck sales, oh yeah steam will tell you they are outta stock, just like the valve index vr headset that was oddly garbage, i just seen someone said they screwed up Steam VR home in another post, also the whole steam VR thing seems to be left in the dust.
this is why i asked could i use my VR helm on a steam deck, maybe a portable device like steam deck would be worth it if VR titles and movablity of steam on a mobile system was possible. it might be a good idea for steam deck 2.0 to have VR helm connection capability and be compatible with VR titles , this would make steam Deck worth while it would give VR users a way to optimize VR game play without being so confined to a area of Vr running a pc with cables.
anyway thats my thoughts for exclusvieness for Steam Deck. hope they offer some insight
