Tracking Non-Steam Games LOCALLY
Especially with the rise of the steam deck, to me it is such a no brainer to support tracking for non-steam games.
And even if its JUST playtime, it would already be a big deal to anyone who's using the Steam Deck for emulation as well. After all that's one of the BIG strengths of this handheld.
Sure I can go into the emulator itself to check on the playtime, but wouldn't it be nice to see the playtime for Zelda BOTW directly in steam?

We already have emudeck and the Steam rom manager that flesh out this experience a lot.. but the community can't really fix the missing playtime tracking.
And it really only has to be stored locally and not used for anything else...
Valve pls fix

Emulators are a form of piracy and Valve/Steam will NOT have anything to do with them.

1. no its not
2. Valve itself featured the yuzu emulator in official material... and deleted it in a "ooops didn't mean to post that" move
3. this isn't about emulation - this is about non-steam games

Emulators are not a form of piracy. Also, RetroArch is officially on Steam.
