Stop Steam Carousel from Auto Rotating

Hi, this is about the Steam Store's featured page. It has a carousel top center that rotates every 6 seconds to show you reccomended games or products. When I click to make it rotate left, the 6 second counter is not reset or paused. If I click rotate left at 5 seconds I then see the game to the left for one second and then it auto scrolls right and resets the 6 second counter.

I think the auto-rotate should stop when a user is manually rotaing the carousel left or right or at least the 6 second timer should reset to zero when you manually rotate left or right.

I just tested this and it looks like it's intermittent. Sometimes it scrolls right every 6 seconds, sometimes it doesn't scroll at all for 5 minutes. This will probably be imposible to fix because there's no reliable way to recreate the auto-scrolling unless you stare at the store page for 5 minutes and wait for the auto-scrolling to happen....

Anyone else seeing this? It may be my computer. I'm using the Steam software to view the store page, not a web browser.

Just let us turn this feature off completely. I don't even bother looking at new games anymore because this is so frustrating. What if I want to look at a picture for 30 seconds? The picture changes on its own, then I go back to the previous image, then it changes again, then I get fed up and give up.

Yeah as a user, I can't think of any positive reasons for wanting this. It's not hard to manually rotate the carousel.
