So far they even haven't allowed full hentai Japanese games. There are way more explicit hentai games sold in Japan that many hypocrite people in other countries mainly Europe and US claim to be obscene and not really legal and other nonsense like that. Like in Europe and US there was no extreme pornography with nowadays no real control to prevent kids from watching..so...

Valve doesn't want to be in the position to say what does and doesn't belong on Steam. So as long as it's legal, it can go on, and they've given you the tools (by blocking tags for example) to remove it from the version of the store presented to you.

You, me, or anyone else, don't get a say in what other people can or can not see on the store.

agreed , if games are allowed to have oversexualized male characters (looking at you gladiolus amicitia , promto argentum , geralt of rivia , and other male characters that clearly are sexualized , why should the oposite be forbidden ?

I don't think it needs to be removed. There's a market for it and as long as it is within the bounds of the law, I don't see a reason not to meet that market. I do however think there needs to be a more elegant solution then what currently exists to filter such games. Sexual content and even nudity are applied so broadly that excluding them would catch a wide variety of games that are not remotely similar to eroge or hentai. (FF15 while sexualized is not comparable...just saying).

BlazBlue Centralfiction as an example has both tags, but is not even remotely in the same vein, although the sexual content arguably does have some merit. This is a problem with user-defined tags in general mind you and if there is a realistic solution to that problem, I'm honestly not seeing it.

It's applied broadly because it has to kinda go by the ratings and tastes of multiple countries. Far safer for developers to high-ball their ratings.

Geralt is oversexualized? What are you smoking?

When we talk about trash hentai games it goes beyond simple attractiveness. You can see females depicted as sexual objects. You can't say that Geralt or other males are depicted in the same way.

These trash hentai games barely offer any gameplay either, as opposed to Witcher 3.

It is indeed a problem when one tries to browse the store for actual video games. Many of these 'games' are not properly tagged and end up slipping through the tag filters.
