Option to turn off smooth scrolling please?
Smooth scrolling in the steam client annoys the hell out of me.

Please please please give us an option to turn if off?

2nd'd. Feels like it was just added/enabled in the recent update, but with no way to turn it back off in any of the settings. It sucks.

Please either revert this change or add an option for users to disable it.

The latest Client update also updated the Chromium version that's being used by Steam. That's probably the reason.

+1 from me. I can't stand smooth scrolling and would like to have an option to turn it off.

I detest the smooth scrolling personally, it's slower and hardly "smoother" it's pointless.

Same here. I would like to have an option to turn it off.

+1 from me as well, I absolutely hate smooth scrolling. It doesn't feel smooth at all.

Not a big fan of smooth scrolling either. It would be nice to be able to turn it off. Also it seems to take a lot longer to scroll though the store page as well after the recent update.

Valve, please. :squirtmeh:
Let us get rid of this nonsense.
I'm now so far as to actively avoiding using the client and I dread every second I have to.

I don't care about smooth scrolling but an option to disable to for the people who don't like it would be nice.

There is no reason why valve should have implemented this "reversed accessibility" thing in steam, yet, thy did

Smooth scrolling seems to be only in the beta client at the moment. This time it even had a noticeable performance impact on my end, as in scrolling and some other interactions within the Steam browser became choppy.

Everything seems fine now that I left the beta again.

I know I probably shouldn't post to old posts, but this is the top result if I search for "steam turn off smooth scrolling" on Google

You can now turn off smooth scrolling in the settings

1. Go to settings
2. Go to Interface
3. Uncheck "Enable smooth scrolling (requires restart)
4. Restart the steam client
