Organising your wishlist
I like Steam as a platform. I've had a great overall experience but there's still one thing I would change: the wishlist.
At the moment, I have like 150 games in my wishlist. I think that's a problem because there's just too many games if someone wants to know what I want, but there's games I want to save somewhere although I don't want anyone to buy them for me.
So my idea is to add the option of creating multiple wishlists— perhaps some of them could be private—, changing its names, descriptions and maybe even colour.
Or we could create folders in just one wishlist, categorising our desired games.
Thanks for reading, I think it would make a big difference to be able to organise your wishlist.

This has been suggested many times over the years. One can only hope in Valve time that we get more options.

I hope so :(.

I would also like this so I hope at some point Valve see the number of times this has been suggested and implement it. I also find it hard to sort my wishlist into a single order, as it's hard to compare games from different genres to rank them against each other.

Exactly! I would find a lot easier to have different lists/folders like "next purchases", "I just wanted to save this/cool games, but I'm not so hyped", etc. Or like "great aesthetic", "interesting history", "promising concept", "all perfect!", etc etc. I would be happy with the mere option to sort them in some way. Now it's just too chaotic :(

Another option would be to allow the filtering of wishlisted games by the already existing tags/keywords used in the store.

that would be an amazing update tbh
I have over 2,700 in my wish list right now and honestly it doesn't bother me at this point.

You end up getting used to it, but it's also extremely diffcult to search for a gift in wish lists that long :(

I just found this forum in order to submit this same request -- I'd like multiple wishlists so I can track games that I want to buy for my kids vs. stuff I want for myself... that way my wishlist doesn't feel bogged down by games I'm not particularly interested in.

yeah! it would also be cool to make private lists for the same reason: "games for friends" (without spoiling the surprise)

As everyone else is saying. This has been suggested many times, however the only way there is a chance for steam to notice is by people keep bring it up. I would just add the option to make shared wishlist's. That way you and you friend(s) could make one together saying these COOP games we gotta get together.

That's another great idea :((. I really hope one day Steam hear us and improve the wishlist system
