Please add more Steam Profile Themes.

More colors are needed for adequate profile customization. Red and Green, for starters. Then you can focus on even more chromatic combinations. Three years on (or more, I can't remember) since they were added, we still have just SIX THEMES to thousands of potential Steam Backgrounds...

What about the themes you get from the game profiles in the Points Shop? There are some red and green themed profiles.

Although it would be nice if there were more than six standard ones.

I'd rather not spend thousands of Steam Points for a Red or Green theme which could be added as standard options just like the aforementioned six.

Same, but I think that's the idea. Some time ago for a very short moment there were other themes visible where the six standard ones are. Too bad they were kept exclusive for game and artist profiles.

They added more profile themes... to the points shop
Most of them are just like the basic 6 themes - a bunch of variables for color and transparency of different parts, and a few gradients. Some themes change more of the profile, like the deck theme. Good that it's possible to test them before buying, how they look and mix with backgrounds.

I have now "BlueRedTheme", the same as in 10k CS:GO theme, but got it in artist halloween theme for 5k

It's easy to change the values and see live effects in web browser (of course visible only locally, not for other steamies). In Chrome even graphically, with sliders. Similarly you can preview any wallpaper.
I doubt Valve will add more free profiles, but they could run a contest, where everyone could submit fine tuned Theme preset, then choose community-themes to add to shop.

It's truly sad that something as basic as this has to be locked behind a paywall. It's not even a "decent" amount like 500 Steam Points a pop, the precise cost of static Steam Backgrounds in the Points Shop.

EDIT: I just tested out adding the "Steam 3000" profile which was offered for free during Summer Sale 2022. Garish pink + yellow "theme" but at least it applied it and then I could revert to my initial avatar frame and background.

The main issue remains in the form of that absurd pricing for "custom" Steam Profiles in the Point Shop: 10.000 Steam Points apiece when I'm only interested in a differently colored theme...

I think Valve is aware of that, and does this on purpose, so that we have to spend more points.

What happened? There have been new profiles in the points shop, but they have been removed after half a day?

An even darker option than the existing 'Dark Mode' would be nice. I found it a bit odd how limited your polychromatic options are with the default themes too.

Still waiting for Red and Green. How hard is to implement two more basic themes for all Steam users to enjoy without spending Steam Points?
