I just created a collection for every category of my games set the collections to show only games availabe to play.
Then right click a game add to collection .
In Steam settings >library>display size for library user interface elements to small.
They are small thumbnails.

High lighting a collection on the left will show all the games in that collection on the right.
YES! I absolutely agree, I think the logic used to create Dynamic Creations should be expanded quite a bit.
For example, a Dynamic Collection for "Singleplayer AND (Adventure OR Choices Matter) NOT Visual Novel. (Nothing against Visual Novels, of course!)
This would help immensely, especially now with trying to juggle one library between both PC and Steam Deck.
Also, I would love to see the ability to use our other collections as a condition too. To use your example:
(City Builder OR Building OR Colony Sim OR Base Builder) AND Deck Verified/Playable NOT in the "Sim City" Collection
If that is too much, what about an ability to have a custom collection that pulls from the various dynamic collections? In my case, I make multiple dynamic co-op collections and then have a custom collection that pulls every game dropped into any of those dynamic collections. I'd prefer to just have and/or options in the dynamic collection but this is another option to get what I want.
I'm trying to create a dynamic collection for good graphics, but some games use the "cinematic" tag, others use the "realistic", and so on... I can't put 'em all together in the same category!
There should be a way so the dynamic collection would scrape by <or> or <and>, and even <not> like Calico said
I'd love to see some logic switches like that.
I'd like to have a collection of all my driving/flying/simulation games, but that isn't possible at the moment.
Not late at all. We need to make some noise about this, otherwise Valve won't listen.
It's such an easy fix, I can't see any other reason for them not doing this other than unawareness.
