Need add filter to profile settings for backgrounds - nonanimeted and animeted

Oh you mean a filter for avatar backgrounds in the backgrounds store?
there is a database of these, it's not terribly up to date, but it's your best bet to do a google. I normally find a few lists and then work from there.

It would be cool if you typed in "animated" in the search field and steam would only display your animated backgrounds :D

100% agree, but a few lists do come up if you google, we could even create a hub of our own for animated avatars I guess? I assume you are taking avatars, or do you mean the mini-backgrounds. Both would be applicable for sure if we had a group?

Agreed. If that have a filter for animated avatars, backgrounds should as well.
But you can filter for Backgrounds and just type Animated in the search bar and they will show up.

Mini-Profiles are all animated and there is already a filter for those. Same goes for Animated Avatars.

I'm not sure what you mean, are you referring to the search bar under the background tab in the profile settings?

In your Steam inventory. Click on the Show Advanced Filters, go to "Item Type" and click the "+Show More" to expand the filters and select Profile Backgrounds. Then, enter Animated in the search bar.

That's something I don't uderstand besides selling more the animated, why there's non animated backgrounds? Does Valve not allow static mini backgrounds?

Some mini backgrounds are so minimal animated that you could think their static.

Making sense, of how any company makes money, is very often impossible. Non animated mini backgrounds might be a thing, who makes them I wonder. That might give you the answer.

A toggle to turn off animations you may see on other people's profiles?
A toggle to turn animated backgrounds into static backgrounds (on your own profile)?

It is clear. He wrote "add filter to profile settings..."

That means adding a filter inside your profile settings, where you choose your profile background, to filter between animated and non animated backgrounds.
