And of course if you aren't the network administrator for your network, maybe you should consider doing more work and less steam on it lol
I could understand if i close the browser - that possibly one of the settings removes cookies then - although nothing like that is set up - neither at work or on my mobile or on my home PC.
2: One of the devices you have connected is causing it to see too many IP swaps too frequently so its automatically deauthorizing other devices. This usually has some other side effects like seeing profile/name changes revert sometimes
It wasn't the case a week ago, so to me it's more Steam having issues and making life harder.
It's definitely going to be easier, and more likely to fix the issue, to look at what may have changed on your end. I'd check to see if you have an unrecognized api listed attached to the account just to be on the safe side, as a hijack can become more than just an inconvenience

There should be nothing there (unless you purposefully put something there yourself)
if there is something that shouldnt be delete it and then deauthorize all devices, and change your password immediately. I don't think this will be the issue but its always best to check it when steam is acting weird.
It's just having dealt with Steam for so many years - all the problems there were, they always blamed it on the users while quietly solving them in the background within weeks or years, depending what it was.
So, no, whenever i hear IT guys blaming computer users... well... no comments but they should be sacked or change their profession.
