Report a translation problem
Set your client and friends window where you want them.
Now set friends to offline/sign out.
Re adjust the friends window again in case it moves after you sign out of friends.
Once signed out and all windows are where you want them, right click steam icon and close steam with Exit.
Launch steam and hopefully that client window reappears where you left it.
Now the friends window, at this point it shouldn’t be visible, that’s good. Leave it.
Go to the Library view and click the game you want to play.
In the games details page it says “ sign in to see friends activity” or similar.
Use that clicky instead to sign in.
Your friends should be where you left it last.
However, we shouldn't have to do all this.
