Store page - disable GIFs from autoloading and/or allow embedded video instead
Some devs embed dozens of gifs into their store page descriptions which is inefficient, ugly and just slows down the load times. It seems completely archaic too - videos as gifs is what people did 10+ years ago.

A couple of solutions:
1) Display gif files as a thumbnail first, the user can click on it and load the gif when they scroll down to it if they want.

2) Allow devs to embed video instead with the same controls as the regular video player (play pause stop etc). They're using gifs like video so you might as well just give them the tools to use video in the product description instead.

Or another box to check in order to turn them off in the preferences settings...?

Bumping this with a +1 for the preferences option. We're at the point where devs are putting their game descriptions into the GIFs, sometimes even disguising it as plaintext instead of just writing it out *as* plaintext. It's getting out of hand.
